For the second time in as many years, Metro Boston Pizza have won the Nova Scotia Female Midget AAA Playoff Championships and the Hockey Nova Scotia Midget AAA female Provincial Championships.

On Feb 27/28 Ferguson's Pharmachoice Screaming Eagles and Metro Boston Pizza took to the ice in Cape Breton to play game 2 and 3 in their best of 5 series.

On Saturday MBP had goals from Frier and James and a shutout from Moak to lead their team to a 2-0 vistory and put them up 2-0 in the series.

On Sunday the Screaming Eagles got on the score board first  but MBP responded with goals from James, Normore and Frier.taking them into the third frame with a 3-1 lead. The Eagles came back hard and a goal by Meghan MacQueen quickly brought them back with striking distance.

MBP goals from Sarah Timmons and Elena Tsitouras late in the third took them out of reach allowing them to capture both game 3 and the Championship. Ferguson's PharmaChoice Screaming Eagle take home the silver medals.

Metro Boston Pizza will represent Nova Scotia at the Midget AAA Female Atlantics slated for Gander , Newfoundland  March 18-21,2010.
